Inspired by the amazing Sabriel, Lirael and Abhorsen books by Garth Nix, here is the symbol of the necromancer Abhorsens used to decorate their robes and surcoats – a silver key.
The key was designed with the role of the Abhorsen in mind and includes a skull, a charter mark and two bells hidden within the decoration.
Each earring is 50mm x 17.7mm (about as big as a real key, but very light weight!) and comes on an illustrated backing card that's covered with shiny, metallic keys too.
The earrings themselves are made from my illustration of the key, produced in stamped, antiqued metal and attached to antiqued silver, fish hook style backs.
Every item is carefully packed and sent by me from my home in Nottingham, United Kingdom, using eco-friendly materials!
