Inspired by the amazing duology by Laini Taylor, these earrings are based on Sarai’s moths that she releases every evening to fly about the city of Weep. Thanks to glow in the dark enamel, they also reveal an alternate, simpler design featuring a crescent moon when the lights are turned out, to represent the magical time Sarai spends with Lazlo in her dreams at night.
Each earring is 40mm x 19.2mm and is presented on an illustrated backing card.
The earrings are made from my illustration of Sarai’s moth, produced in gold plated metal with regular coloured and glow in the dark enamel, with 22 Carat Gold plated stud style attachments to keep them securely in place. There is a clear epoxy resin coating over each earring to protect it from scratches and give it a smooth, lustrous finish.
For the best glow in the dark effect, please leave the earrings under natural light for a little time before wearing.
